I live in Australia and am a member of a small branch. It is quite challenging for me to get ideas that we as a small group can do. Have the exact number of chairs as there are people and place them in a circle. The person in charge of the game will then read various “Have you ever? If you HAVE then you will move one seat to the right.

The ones from Costco were a bit large, so the Sam’s Club ones were perfect. I think it’s $14.99 for 30 – they were so pretty, and the whipped frosting was delicious. We bought a chicken salad from Costco and put them on the delicious, buttery croissants from Costco as well. We also put a piece of lettuce on each one to make it feel a little fancier.
The other activities committee leader had originally created a Bingo game for us to play. We ran out of time, but I think it would have been so fun. I believe it was based on General Conference talks, and she had bought M&Ms for people to use as markers. Another great service idea is to have a Service Auction.

It helps us alot especially when we run out of ideas. Have several different soups for the sisters to enjoy. Label each soup so everyone knows what soups there are, and have a big basket of rolls to enjoy with the yummy soup. We created our backdrop using $1 plastic tablecloths. You can find some other great ideas on Pinterest (what did we do before Pinterest?).
Enjoy food from all over the world or pick a specific region that you would like to focus on. When we did this we focused on Mexico & South America because several women in our ward were from those areas. Decorate with flags from different countries, maps, and some fiesta themed décor. And I love to gather with these women I love, especially at Christmas-time. This IKEA notebookis only $1.99, so totally doable to get for each sister. I bought 30 of them and printed out enough tags for each one I bought.

I’ve heard of a lot of Relief Societies doing this lately, and I thought it was such a fun idea. Each sister brings one of her shoes and everyone places it on the table in the front of the room. We just mixed up some Country Time Lemonade and put it in a drink dispenser one of the sisters on the committee had. Thank you sno much for the trouble you have gone to for this blog.
